PREEA Hosts Serbian Ambassador at Georgetown University On Tuesday November 27 th PREEA hosted His Excellency Dr. Ivan Vujacic, ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the United States. In his first visit to Georgetown University, Ambassador Vujacic spoke on the prospects and challenges of Serbia’s integration with the European Union. The presentation was attended by a large and diverse audience, including the Bosnian ambassador, Georgetown graduate students, foreign journalists, think tank analysts, and other Washington professionals. The ambassador discussed a wide range of topics, including Serbia’s economic progress, Serbia’s relations with the US, EU, and Russia, Serbia’s cooperation with the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, and other regional issues. Speaking on the last day of negotiations discussing the future status of Kosovo, Ambassador Vujacic expressed the official position of Serbia and answered a number of additional questions posed by the audience.
